Prophet Mohamed in Buddhist scriptures.

Prophet Mohamed (Sallallahu Alaihiwa Sallam) in Buddhist  scriptures.

Almost all the Buddhist scriptures that speaks about a “Maithree” to come.

It’s also mention in

“Chakkavati Sinhnad Suttanta

D111, 76”

It says that

 ‘’Another Buddha will come by the name maithree.

The holy one.  The supreme one.  The enlighten one.

 And Dowd with wisdom and conduct.  Auspicious having knowledge of the universe. Whatever he will get from super natural knowledge he will preach to the whole world. He will preach a religion which will be glorious at the beginning, glorious at the climax, glorious at the end. He will preach a way of life which will be truthful and wholly perfect. He will have several thousands of monks as I have several hundreds of monks. ‘’

These prophesy also repeated in the

‘’ Sacred Books of the East

 Volume  35  Pages 225.’’

That a maithree will come which such and such criteria and qualities.

And further it says that he will be a leader to thousands of people as I’m a leader of hundreds of peoples.

Its further mention in

‘’Gospel of Buddha Page 217- 218’’

Ananda asked Buddha

‘’Oh blessed one… after you have gone who will guide us.?’’

So the blessed one Buddha he replied:

‘’I’m not the first Buddha in the world.  Neither is I the last. There will be another Buddha will come

 The holy one, the supreme one, the enlighten one and Dowd with the wisdom and conduct.

The auspicious having knowledge of the universe. He will preach a religion which will be glorious at the beginning, glorious at the climax, glorious at the end.

He will teach a way of life which will base on truth and will be a perfect way of life. And he will have many thousands of disciples as I have only hundreds of disciples.’’

The ananda asked Buddha (the blessed one)

‘’How will we know him?’’

So Buddha replied

‘’He will be called as maithree.’’

Maithree means the merciful , loving, kind, compassionate

one equivalent Arabic word is ‘Rahmah.’

And ALLAH says in the Qur’an

Surah al Ambiya

 Chapter  21 Verse 107.

‘’We have send the knot but as the mercy to all the world, as the mercy to all the creatures and the mercy to whole humanity.’’

So  almost all of them prophesies about a maithree that is

Mohamed (Sallalahu Alaihiwa Sallam )to come.

Mohamed (Sallalahu Alaihiwa Sallam) is further prophesies in the Buddhist scriptures.

Maha- Parinibbana Sutta

Cha 2 v.32 it says that

‘’Ask for the Buddha there are no exoteric or esoteric teachers. And oh ananda, the thaththa gathas(teachers) have nothing likes a closest fest we cannot keep the knowledge to ourselves it should be proclaim.’’

 ‘’And we know about Mohamed (Sallalahu Alaihiwa Sallam) whatever he received from ALLAH he proclaim to the whole humanity.

And he tall his disciples that never keep it away from human kind proclaim it and spread it. ‘’

That’s what mentioned in the prophesy there is nothing like esoteric or exoteric everything should be  told to the humankind.

Maha- parinibana sutha

Chapter 5 v.36

‘’It says that Buddha had a servitor by the name of ananda so shall the maithree have a servitor. ‘’

And we know from history that the servitor of prophet Mohamed was Anas (Peace be upon him) was the son of Malik(Peace be upon him).

We know Anas (Peace be upon him) he always stood by the prophet.

In times of peace and in times of war,

In times of safety in times of danger,

He can very well compare to ananda we know when the mad elephant rushes at Buddha,  ananda stood by Buddha.  

Similarly we know Anas (Peace be upon him) in the battle of Uhud at the age of 11 even when the enemies were closed to prophet Anas  (Peace be upon him) stood by the prophet.

Even in the battle of Hunain  at the age of 16 when the enemies who archers surrounded the prophet yet Anas (Peace be upon him) stood by the prophet. He can very well compare to ananda we know when the mad elephant rushes at Buddha, ananda stays by Buddha.

 To this is the fulfillment of the prophesies that the maithree will have a servitor. 

Gospel of Buddha page no 214.

This maithree to come will have 6 qualities.

1.    He will get enlightenment at night.

2.    He will become bright when he gets enlighten

3.    He will die a natural death

4.    He will die at night

5.    When he die he will become bright

6.    Once he dies he will never be seemed in the bodily form in this earth again.

1.     We know Mohamed (Sallalahu Alaihiwa Sallam) the first Wahee he got was  at night time.

(Surah al Dukhan chapter 44 verses 2-3)

(Surah al Qadr chapter 97 verses 1)

 ‘’its says that the quran was revealed in the night of power. ‘’

2.     We know Mohamed (Sallalahu Alaihiwa Sallam) looked bright after he got the enlighten.

3.     We know prophet Mohamed had  a natural death.

4.     He will die at night.

According to the hades Ayesha (Peace be upon her) did not have oil in the lamp so she borrowed the oil from the neighbor indicating it was night when prophet Mohamed died.

5.     Anas(Peace be upon him)  says that prophet Mohamed looked bright when he died.

6.     After prophets death ne never seemed bodily form again.

These are the main criteria which were mentioned in the buddhist scriptures about Mohamed (Sallalahu Alaihiwa Sallam).
